A Personal Passion

The heart and soul of Triage4Pediatrics is Nurse Julie Ortiz, available as your main contact 24/7.

After graduating from the University of Arkansas, Julie worked at Children’s Medical Center in Little Rock, cross-training in various departments. She was then a travel nurse for several years, working in NICU, PICU, and general pediatrics, and also worked for an insurance company, doing telephone triage.

It was there she recognized the need for a complete service that provided after-hours advice the same way she did; with not just extensive experience but genuine empathy and concern. And so, Triage4Pediatrics was born. Julie hand-picks the nurses who work for Triage4Pediatrics, based, in equal measure, on their pediatric knowledge and their capacity for caring.
